This Privacy Policy explains how Manager By Design by Dr. Farid Basir (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal data, in line with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

1. What we collect

When you buy Manager By Design, the checkout (provided by ToyyibPay) collects:

  • your name;
  • your email address;
  • your telephone number;
  • payment details such as the amount, date and transaction reference.

If you email us, we also keep the content of your message and your email address.

We do not receive or store your bank account or card details. These are handled by ToyyibPay and your bank.

2. How we use it

  • to deliver your e-book, toolkit and WhatsApp Learning Community details;
  • to confirm your payment and keep purchase records;
  • to add you to the WhatsApp Learning Community, if your purchase includes it;
  • to respond to your questions and provide support;
  • to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We will not send you marketing emails unless you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.

3. Who we share it with

  • ToyyibPay, to process your payment and send your receipt;
  • WhatsApp (and other members of the Learning Community), where your phone number and profile are visible inside the group;
  • authorities, where we are required to by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. This website

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the website.

5. How long we keep it

We keep purchase records for as long as needed to provide support and to meet legal and accounting requirements, and then delete them.

6. Your rights

You may ask to access or correct the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent for its use where applicable. Email ManagerByDesign@outlook.my and we will respond within a reasonable time.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal data from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page.
